Skills4Life

Over the past four weeks, we have been incredibly lucky to have had Kendall and Kelvin come in and spend some time with our class, teaching us new games and activities that we can play that are fun, and that support us with learning new skills in sport. The children of Room 8 have absolutely loved it. There is no doubt we will playing many of these games in our classroom!

Life Education Trust

We were incredibly lucky to have a special visitor visit our school last week, Harold the Giraffe! We spent two lessons learning about Digital Citizenship in the mobile classroom. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Student of the Week

Louis Procter is our Student of the Week this week! Louis has learnt how to become an independent learner during writing time and because of this, he is now writing on his own! We are so impressed Louis! Keep up the great work!

Room 8 Photo!

Here are the children of Room 8 all ready for learning on their first day at school this year! For Aden, Finn and Louis, it was their very first day at school which was very exciting for them!

First week!

What an exciting first week we have had in Room 8! This week we began our Skills4Life programme which is every Thursday morning. We are very lucky to be learning a range of skills such as hopping, running, skipping and being able to use our reflex's to stop suddenly on the spot. Here is a picture of us in action!

The second exciting event was Finn Mullin getting student of the week this week! Finn has made a brilliant start to his learning here at Auroa School. He is a fantastic role model for those around him! Well done Finn!
